Tender’s Cotton Acetate Spectaclesare hand made in England. The frames are cut from acetate derived from cotton pulp and the front is shaped and cut from a single slab and carved by hand to fit around the nose and cheekbones.

The hinges are deadstock 1940s swiss-made 7chewier hinges and the quality of these are second to none. Compared toweaker ones with less chewier commonly used by other brands today that might break ordeform afterbeing used for a while, these hinges will staysteady after years of use. Theearpieces have a signature drilled hole that holds a thick cotton neck cord when delivered. The neck cord is easy to untie if one prefer to wear the glasses without it.
